The Millions Dollar Advocates forum is pleased to announce that attorney Dennis VanDerGinst of Rock Island, IL has been certified as a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. VanDerGinst is presently a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements.

The organization was founded in 1993 and there are approximately 3000 members located throughout the country. Less than 1% of U.S. Lawyers are members. Forum membership acknowledges excellence in advocacy, and provides members with a national network of experienced colleagues for professional referral and information exchange in major cases. Members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case in which their client has received a verdict, award or settlement in the amount of one million dollars or more.

Members of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum must be Life Members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and must have acted as principal in at least one case which has resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict, award or settlement. Mr. VanDerGinst is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. VanDerGinst is a graduate of De Paul University Law School and specializes in plaintiff’s personal injury law, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, and mass tort litigation.

Attorney Geoff Campbell has joined the Quad Cities area law firm, VanDerGinst Law, P.C.  Mr. Campbell is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the federal courts.  His background is extensive and eclectic.  His career has taken him through private practice as well as long stints with the Knox County Public Defender’s Office, the Rock Island County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.  His practice is focused on criminal defense, traffic issues, small claims and general practice.

Attorney Yamel H. Mayans-Joyce has joined the Quad Cities area law firm, VanDerGinst Law, P.C.  Ms. Mayans-Joyce is licensed to practice law in Mexico.  She attended the University of Juarez and obtained advanced education as the Judicial School for the Federal Government, approved by the Supreme Court of Justice in Mexico. She has been practicing law in Mexico for the past seven years.  At VanDerGinst Law she will be working as a general practice paralegal as she awaits her licensure to practice in Illinois and Iowa. Her retention is an integral part in the law firm’s concerted effort to provide more full service legal options to the growing Hispanic community.  She becomes the fifth bi-lingual staff member of VanDerGinst Law.  Upon her local licensure she will participate in the firm’s growing immigration department.

Quad Cities attorney, Dennis VanDerGinst, of VanDerGinst Law, P.C., has been selected as one of the “Top Injury Lawyers In Illinois” according to a recent publication of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.   The list was compiled based upon results of a survey of submitted to over 50,000 attorneys throughout Illinois.  This marks the second year in a row that VanDerGinst has been selected for this honor.

“I am completely overwhelmed by the accolades that I have been graced with lately,” said VanDerGinst, referring to a recent rash of awards and honors for which he has been selected.  “I am extremely grateful for the recognition and truly believe it is a testament to the entire firm.  I am extremely fortunate to work with some great lawyers and other legal professionals.”

VanDerGinst has been a perennial selection to the publication.  This marks the eleventh year in a row that he has been selected.  He focuses his practice exclusively to personal injury law and mass tort litigation.

Paralegal Linda Carlin has joined the Quad Cities area law firm, VanDerGinst Law, P.C.  Ms. Carlin has had many years of experience as a paralegal and a legal investigator.  She will participate in the law firm’s social security disability department, the client intake and investigations department and the property damage resolution department.
