PATRICIA WILGER

Patricia Wilger was born in St. Louis in 1965, and raised in the Quad-City area. She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1984. Ms. Wilger received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Grinnell College in 1988. Ms. Wilger then attended Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, receiving a Juris Doctorate in 1991. During her time at Marquette, Ms. Wilger was a law clerk at Previant, Goldberg, Uelman, Gratz, Miller & Brueggeman, a premiere personal injury litigation firm in Milwaukee, and was active in political campaigning.

Ms. Wilger practiced law in Appleton, Wisconsin, from 1991-1996, with the firm of Robinson, Peterson, Berk & Cross, specializing in personal injury litigation, family law and criminal defense. During this time Ms. Wilger was active in the Outagamie County Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar Association, the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Business and Professional Women Federation. Ms. Wilger also served youth in the community by serving as a mentor to juvenile offenders in the Juvenile Diversion Program and as a Girl Scout troop leader.

Ms. Wilger returned to the Quad-Cities and began solo-practice in 1998, practicing in general litigation and juvenile court work. Shortly thereafter she also began working with Klockau, Marquis, & Skorepa in Rock Island, Illinois, in insurance defense litigation. Ms. Wilger joined VanDerGinst Law, P.C., in 2004. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Scott County Bar Association, and Rock Island County Bar Association. Since returning to the Quad-Cities, Ms. Wilger has been active in Business and Professional Women, Girl Scouting and church-related activities.
